Tarangire National Park

The Tarangire National Park is Located in Manyara Region and Arusha City of Tanzania few hours’ drive form Arusha City Centre,  Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River that crosses through the park. Because this river is the only source of fresh water for wild animals during dry seasons, you can expect to see thousands of animals migrating to the Tarangire National park when the rains have left the plains.

Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephant as compared to anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it beautiful and distinctive location to visit.
